This coming Sunday is the 1st birthday celebration of the Star and Shadow market and we'd love it if you could make it along and join in the celebrations. Entry is free.
There will be 20 stalls offering a diverse mix of handmade, 2nd hand/vintage – clothing, music, homewares, books, art and more.
To make the event extra special we've got 2 wonderful bands playing during the day:
Happy Valley Clan (alt rock/folk)1.30 - 2. 30 and
Sourpretty (rock/indie) 2.45 - 3. 45
We'll also be putting some sweet treats about the place to tempt you further, so why not take the opportunity to see a free gig and chill out with a drink from one of the cheapest bars in town.
Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.
Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
