The protocol for booking shows is to send a demo/press kit and to follow up with a phone call. The best time to call is Monday-Saturday 4-7pm Central.

If you're interested in playing, please still send us a Friend Request.

Head on the Door has been serving Montgomery with original music since the early 1990's. We have live music every Friday and Saturday nights by local, regional, and national acts. We pride ourselves in being a venue that encourages original music.

We're open 7 days a week, 5pm-until, and close Saturday nights at 2am.

The bar is 21 and up at ALL times.

No cover charge - ever!

Capacity is 65.

This is a message from Todd:

If you are on the books or plan on booking in the future, you are required to approve ALL opening acts that have not been booked.

We booked your band for a reason: we want you to play. We don't book certain other bands for a reason: we do not want them to play. Otherwise, we'd have open mike night. And you know that's not going to happen.

If other bands arrive with you unannounced, Todd might not allow them to play.

The only exception: Your opener is fronted by Lemmy Kilmister.
