Headroom is an acoustic elixir where swanky southern rock forms mingle with sophisticated groove oriented modern rock. Since the fall of 2005 these guys have been stock piling songs and honing their chops on numerous Phoenix stages. The band set out to write as many songs as possible without any sounding alike forcing them to draw deeply on their extensive influences and life experience.

Recently the band has been “cleaning-up” at regional and national awards shows – notably the Los Angeles and Phoenix Music Awards and turning heads of top industry promoters and producers. Headroom has casually it seems managed to garner awards for 2008 Male Singer Songwriter of the Year - PMA, 2008 Rock Drummer of the Year - PMA, 2008 National Band of the Year – LAMA, and 2009 Alternative Rock Band of the Year – PMA and numerous nominations.

This band is well practiced having crafted dozens of highly refined melodic rhapsodies. Street wise and loaded with svelte and meticulous hooks and riffs their music seems to transcend their down to earth natures and personalities. Live performances are gripping and magnetic!
