‘Heads High’ is about encouraging every person to hold their head high, and report bullying and not ignore it!
Anti-Bullying work should be big at every school! And so should Student Voice.
This MySpace has been set up to spread the Anti-Bullying message and encourage others locally, nationally and even internationally to join the campaign.
The Heads High campaign can mostly be found in schools in Northamptonshire/Buckinghamshire- but we want to spread it nationally- so please get in touch and you could visit our work or we could visit you!!!
It will also act as another way that our members (& indeed anyone) can get in touch with us.
People from all walks of lives and all over the world suffer Bullying:

It happens- But it shouldn’t!

Don’t be a Bystander!
If you see Bullying or suffer Bullying make sure you tell someone. Telling an Adult or somebody you trust is probably the best & safest answer!
Don’t let it go unnoticed-
‘See Something; Say Something’ or ‘See it. Get help. Stop it’. And remember: ‘Heads High!’

What is Bullying?
We think Bullying can be described as:
Doing something or saying something that deliberately hurts, upsets, threatens or frightens someone. It’s usually continual harassment and not a one-off.
Bullying can be split up into three sections:
Verbal,
Physical,
and
Indirect.
Teasing
Sarcasm
Name calling
Continually ignoring someone
Racist & sexist remarks
Homophobic comments
Taking your money or personal belongings
Pushing, hitting, kicking and punching
Sexual abuse, including unwanted physical contact or comments
Spreading rumours or starting gossip about you
Getting you into trouble for no real reason
Excluding you
Sending you hurtful messages via texts, emails, phoning and letters
A Friend, Lollipop lady, Mentor-Councillor-Peer Support, Childline-Bullying Online-Samaritans (See LINKS), Parent-Guardian, An Adult you trust, Teacher-Youth Worker-Social Worker,
Dinner Lady, Family Friend, Relative, Us!
Your School, Workplace or setting where the Bullying is taking place have a duty and responsibility to listen to you and your concerns!
Important to remember:
‘Everyone has the right to feel safe all the time’.
‘Nothing is too small or too serious to tell, to a teacher, friend, parent or adult, they can help you to deal with it well’.
‘Remember your behaviour and attitude affects every adult and every child’.
‘Don’t suffer in silence- it’s not your fault you’re being bullied- tell someone’.
‘Bullying is not a normal part of life. It can happen, but it shouldn’t!’
'It's right to tell someone if you're being bullied. But you don't have to let them take over! You can talk to them about what you would like to happen!'
'Don't give up. Keep talking about the problem, until it's solved!'.
