Headshaft is the house band at dodge st bar and grill every monday night in salem Ma. The original line up was Mike Tucker,Ben Zecker, Mike Mele,Benny Benson and Michael Miksis. Justin Piper took over the guitar chair shortly after the band formed.
monday nights now consist of rotation of bostons best players backed up by drummer Benny Benson and bassist Michael Miksis.

The rules are simple. I will be playing anything and everything from the North Shore scene...be it PUNK, electronica, ROCK N ROLL, Reggae, JAZZ/FUNK, hip-hop etc...
I am always looking for demos be it studio quality or lo-fi bedroom recordings.
I hope to add my peice to help promote the North shore/boston music scene, and let everyone hear the quality vibes that are happening in this area.

We want our store filled with as much as we can and perhaps that you might have stuff or your friends. We are trying to get in contact with all the local bands and get the word out.
