Phil Smith - Guitar and Lead Vocals
Phil started playing in '77 with west country giants ' The Heat ' and was then asked to join the original 'Street Circus ' and ' Fat Larry's Band ' working with Crystal Gale, Box Car Willie and other American Country artists.
1985 - Phil fronted ' Fluke ' producing two albums ( SMP World Wide Records ) charting across Europe hitting no 2 in the Belgium album charts. During this time Phil was also part of the great creation ' Ethereal Counterbalance ' with Rod Goodway. Also running ' The Big Fish ' studio in Bristol. Phil continued to play with anyone and everyone until he found ' The One Eyed Bishops ' based in New Jersey. The line-up includes Mike Burro, Jay Adcock and Dan Tilbury ( Fluke, UK Snakes ) and recorded the album 'School Of Rock 'n' Roll ' . Phil now living in Hampshire (UK) continues his quest.....lets entertain them.

Baz Payne - Bass Guitar
Baz has played in many rock and blues bands in and around London and has supported a number of name bands. During the early 1980s, Baz left he UK to spend some time playing in Germany, entertaining the troops and military bases around Frankfurt and later, working in clubs around Munich and Garmisch. He played with Charlie Hart (of Ronnie Lane’s band ‘Slim Chance’) and the Fake Faces at the Ronnie Lane tribute show at the Ruskin Arms in 1997 and in 1998 the Faces Convention with the Band Stone Cold Sober.

Tony McMillan - Drums and percussion.
Tony joined the Headsmith Band in 2007 having completed a successful world tour with his own band, The Krewmen, as lead guitarist and singer.
Tony formed the Krewmen in 1982 and has been writing and producing his own material since late 1985.
In 12 years the Krewmen released 10 albums and several singles and toured Europe, USA, Canada and Japan.

   About Headsmith Band

Headsmith returns with a vengeance....

Headsmith is a three piece band that plays a distinctive style of original British classic rock and blues. They are masters of the "fly by the seat of your pants, low down rockin', loud and grooving, good old blues, the way it is supposed to be played.
Phil Smith relaunched his 'Headsmith Band' in 2007 with a new line-up which includes Baz Payne on bass and Tony McMillan on drums.
The band finished recording their new album earlier this year, which is called 'Aint Done Yet' and are touring the UK during 2009.Checkout the band website for merchandise and other cool stuff !

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.

This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!

It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm

As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!

URGENT: Wanted Two Bands for Label Consideration

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.

*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.

1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.

* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist.
** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong.
*** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.

* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist.
** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong.
*** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

XXX - If you meet the minimum qualifications as described above. Email a link for your MySpace Page and if applicable, a link for your website to: recordingartistsearch@gmail.com

Only send one email with your links. Due to the volume of responses normally received for these types of opportunities. After review of your material, you will only be contacted if there is an interest in attending one of your shows by a label representative. As such please to not send any follow up emails regarding selections. If you were not contacted back, there was not an interest.

Thank You.
