Have a load of DVDs I haven..t watched, so a few evenings will be spent in front of the goggle box with a bevvie or two.
Preferred Sean Of The Dead to Hot Fuzz, although Timothy Dalton was class.
Have just watched Trois Couleurs: Bleu, Blanc, and Rouge, with sexy results. Top fillums, and will be watched again unlike most stuff people buy on DVD. Not sure if I..d snog Juliette Binoche or feed her a bowl of soup, bless.
Television
Comedies, and that weird diet programme about the bloke who only ate spaghetti hoops and toast. Gave up on watching the news all day long as it was too depressing.
Enjoying the return of Doctor Who to the telly, and Life On Mars when I get back in time to see it.
Also liked Two Pints and Coupling, although they seem to have divided the nation. Oh and Bottom. Can..t forgot Bottom. Oh and Father Ted. Comedies, I guess. Comedy telly.
Don..t think there..s much else.. Garth Marenghi..s Dark Place, Brass Eye. That kind of thing.. stuff that doesn..t get shown very often. Don..t even watch Newsnight anymore, cos it..s all boring news shite.
Books
I didn..t really like Armadillo.. started off a bit weird and the end was a bit pants. Also, Fever Pitch - too many mentions of Arsenal - bad news to a Liverpool fan. Like the Premiership year after year after year!
Quite like Nick Hornby, Roddy Doyle, Tony Parsons, Robert Rankin, and Spike Milligan. Anything with a bit of humour, doesn..t require the OED in order to read, and contains the word "cunt". Best of all the swear words.
Bought a couple of books in Uxbridge the other week, but can..t remember what they are... they..re currently buried under a pile of shite that needs sorting out after the house painting and general making-the-place-look-less-like-a-hole is done. If I had more jam jars for windows, I could be Stig Of The Dump.
Currently reading some stuff by Jonathan Coe. Probably related to Sebastian. Or George. Oh that was Cole.
