Headup

Headup are a three piece metal band from Sheffield, UK.

Headup are a band on a mission. Their mission is to play their own brand of bone crunching metal to as many rock fans as possible by any means neccesary. The sound is made up of a mix of Pantera style metal grooves and Hatebreed-esque fast hardcore punk amongst many other influences such as Corrosion of Conformity, Strapping Young Lad, Motorhead and Fear Factory. What you are left with is an onslaught of ear raping fast paced rock music with heartfelt lyrics and a lung shattering amount of double kick work.

In one form or another Headup have been around for over 9 years now playing up and down the country as well as making a number of records. After a recent change of personnel in the bass role the band have been off the road for a number of months to write new material in preparation for recording their debut album later this year. As well as writing new material they have also been tightening up their live set as they are busy organising a punishing live schedule.
