About me: Rev. D. B. Wilson is passionate about creating space for engaging dialogue and dynamic worship among marginalized people. Marginalized communities today include: racial/ethnic minorities, persons with mental health issues, women, single parents, ex-offenders, incarcerated persons, thugs, gays, lesbians, transgendered, hip hop generation, the poor, the homeless, the elderly, youth, legal immigrants, undocumented immigrants, and persons with addictions to name a few.
Jesus was born into, lived among, and ministered to the marginalized of His day. We follow His example giving a word of love and welcome to all. What and who we don't understand, we pray about. But we love while we pray and trust God to help our understanding.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who is interested in developing their spiritual selves, especially those who have been burned by churches, don't feel that church is really relevent to real life, or can't even understand church cuz the church folk have their own language the rest of the world just doesn't understand. We can relate.
