If you are anything like me, you are interested in exploring natural and energy alternatives to solving health and emotional problems. You are a true believer in the concept that "We all are ONE." and therefore understand that what we do has far reaching effects that we can't even begin to imagine. Thinking along the same lines, we could talk for hours about alternative/holistic healing approaches and other spiritual and metaphysical topics.

I am really into energy healing. It is what made a tremendous difference for my back and neck pain and migraine headaches and has solved the mystery cause of my son's hyperactivity. I am devoted to sharing this with anyone who is interested in healing.

First, a little background about myself: I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and spent half of my early years there and in the Detroit, Michigan area. Therefore, I have divided loyalties for the Ohio State and Michigan rivalry.

Love that Motown sound! I saw Stevie Wonder at the age of 12 at my roller rink and I saw the Supremes at my teen dance hall. Oops! Really dating myself with that remark.

I love to make jewelry: earrings, necklaces and even some pendulums. I collect crystals, geodes and stones. This drives my husband crazy when I need to bring them home from our travels.

I love to travel and as my journey expanded, I married a man who worked for the State Department. Then I found that I needed to experience living in some foreign countries: Pakistan, Tunisia, Brazil, the Soviet Union and Panama. Believe me when I say, It is one thing to visit and something else to live in another country.? I felt that life was a big challenge. Anyhow, all challenges now seem minor in comparison and I continue to travel with my most recent trips to Egypt and Mexico on Spiritual Journeys with Patricia Cori.

I have been married for 37 years and I am the mother of two fine young men. Insert PRIDE here. I am becoming a better businesswoman and healer every day.

I have had many jobs in my lifetime: waitress, bank teller, cashier at Burger King, teacher, business manager and many others but my favorite is the one I do now.

So how did I get into the energy healing that fills my life and brightens the day? The exploration of alternative healing approaches all began with my young son .....

He was hyperactive and had difficulty focusing. It was a problem for him and a problem for us since he seemed to end up in trouble at school and was being avoided by other kids. As a parent we all want our kids to be liked, accepted and happy. He was miserable and as any parent would be, I was concerned and frustrated. I knew that something had to be causing his hyperactivity.

The doctor and the school were quick to recommend medications but I worried about the side effects like: lack of appetite, listlessness and others that would inhibit his joyous personality. In my way of thinking, a medication that you have to take daily for the rest of your life is not getting to the root cause, but simply treating the symptoms. I began researching alternative approaches. I was happy to find out about the effects of diet on hyperactivity and to discover that certain foods were triggers for him. Then we began the struggle to break bad dietary habits and improve the family diet. Everything began to improve for him and we were greatly relieved.

Then I began to realize that there must be some holistic approaches to help me with chronic, life-long migraines. I spent days incapacitated with severe throbbing pain that the slightest noise or bit of light were triggers to greater excruciating pain. My stomach was too upset to even think about food. I felt guilty closing myself off from family activities as I waited for the pain to subside.

I had days when the pain was so severe that I was unable to function at work and did not remember how I even drove home. Scary thing! I became an even greater pessimist, always worried about the next headache and next missed family event. There was no “magic pill� or medication that was capable of relieving the pain much less eliminating the recurrence of migraines. I tried every kind of medication, herb and dietary changes that I could find in the hopes of gaining my life back again but nothing worked.

As I explored holistic approaches, I began to understand the mind-body connection. As I tried different modalities, I became attracted to the ability of energy medicine to assist in the release of emotional issues.

I was also plagued with back pain and neck pain. I was often in the Chiropractor’s office 2 or more times per week. Our insurance was not covering this kind of care so the monetary strain was not easy to handle. It was difficult to move and difficult to sleep. Pain definitely doesn't make you an easy person to be around.

The chiropractor recommended exercises but they didn't keep the problem from reoccurring. Now I was in fear of both back pain and migraine headaches. Fear turned out to be the big culprit. It caused my back to go out again as soon as I left the chiropractor. Once again, I was being shown the mind-body connection but it had not entirely registered in my conscious mind.

By this time, I was beginning to take classes in energy healing approaches. In one class, I was fascinated when the teacher adjusted a friend’s back in less than 5 minutes. The real clincher was when he showed that the same approach could be used to adjust his own back. Immediately, I wanted to sign up for the class that would enable me to adjust my own back and assist others with back and neck pain.

Taking that class saved me from continued worry and fear of back, neck and headache pain. I was now able to fix my own back whenever pain would strike. Being in alignment and more optimistic about the future eased the migraines. Proper alignment, homeopathy, being less stressed and energy healing helped me eliminate the migraines.

I spent years of my life living in fear, always worried and pessimistic about the future. Now thanks to holistic approaches my life is a joy, content, with less stress and great optimism to face each new day. I have a life back again free of pain and free to be a welcomed participant in family activities.

So now I spend my days doing intuitive energy healing to assist people and animals. I assist others to look at and release emotional issues. I work to bring people back into alignments physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

I also share, with each of my clients, information about how they can continue to heal themselves. Technically we are all capable of healing ourselves but an energy assist helps us know what to focus on and what techniques or exercises would help you improve and maintain your health.

I met my best friend, Jeri while taking classes and enjoy the opportunity to have someone to talk to who shares my interests and beliefs. Her energy healing and Heirloom Remedies/nature essences have greased the release of a lot of emotional baggage that no longer serves me and has also helped many of my clients.
