About me:
The Healthy Girls Initiative of the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. offers healthy lifestyle awareness programs and activities to girls ages 8-14 and their adult caregivers (usually parents)in South Sarasota County
(North Port, Venice, Englewood,and Laurel/Nokomis/Osprey).
MISSION...to help grow holistically healthy girls through good nutrition,
physical activity,
emotional/mental wellness,
and environmental health.
VISION...a South Sarasota County community where each girl is supported in laying a strong foundation for a healthy lifestyle.
The Healthy Girls Initiative is generously funded by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice and Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc.

Who I'd like to meet:
Girls ages 8-14, adult caregivers of girls ages 8-14, principles, teachers, school nurses, wellness professionals, community organization leaders, and others in South Sarasota County interested in cultivating healthy community!
