As a garden writer and master gardener, I get to write about what I love to do, which is gardening. I developed my green thumb about the same time that I started writing. As a child I filled my home with houseplants and diligently took notes on their progress. Today I own hundreds of plants, indoors and out. I am the happiest and most comfortable when greenery is surrounding me—the more the better.
