Disneyland. Swing dancing; belly dancing (haven't learned yet, but I will). Writing; Book-collecting; reading. Movies; live theatre; acting. Photography. Sewing, costuming. Animals. Horse back riding (even though I haven't done it in YEARS). Renaissance Faires. Halloween. Having a reason to dress like an idiot. Pirates. Corsets. All things goth, punk, rockabilly, and (this soooo doesn't fit here) country. Falling asleep next to somebody. Home-cooked food. Late nights. Making money. Going running on the beach. Shopping. Hanging out in Hollywood.

Phoenix How am I supposed to get off work early enough for the engagement dinner Saturday, if I can't even kick this thing long enough to get into the office!!!

Phoenix Cuttin' out my cherry fabric. I'm gonna dig around tomorrow to see if I can find a good fabric to line the stockings with.

Phoenix is thining about making some cherry printed Christmas stockings...

Phoenix I have a meeting with my financial aid rep at school tomorrow. Time to battle. Wish me luck.
For those curious, I go by many names. I am known around various places as either Phoenix or Nadya/Nadejda.
I am a loyal Renaissance Faire attendee. I can take on any number of characters there, though it's usually Nadejda Romnichel (the Gypsy) or Patience Pettingill (a simple monger).
I'm a big time movie buff, and collector of DVDs; if I don't have it, I probably plan on buying it. I'm a sucker for romance, mainly romantic comedies (especially those that have a period feel to them, like A Knight's Tale and Ever After), and I love anything with James McAvoy, John Cusack or Robin Williams in it and anything Disney.
I love photography. It was a poor neglected hobby of mine until I finally took a photo class in the spring of 09, and now I don't seem to want to stop. I'll be in need of subjects... Any volunteers? *devilish grin*
I am a hopeless romantic.
I don't like it when my character and/or morals are questioned. They define who I am and they control my actions.
I am undyingly loyal. So long a you don't f**k with me or the people I care about.
I am very shy, and incredibly insecure. But I (very) recently started learning how to fix that.
I like being the shoulder to cry on, as long as you can be my shoulder from time to time, and you actually have something worth crying about.
I don't like to hurt people's feelings, and I actually mean that in a bad way, as it often prevents me from doing what needs to be done or from speaking my mind even when necessary.
I try to be open minded, and I seriously hope you are, too. Otherwise, we're gonna have a problem.
I tend to be rather open about myself, so if you have any questions, ask...
There are many, many things I want in life, including:
Learn to dance - west coast swing, belly dance, latin ballroom, ... (anything and everything, you name it)
Own horses - especially fresians and gypsy cobbs
Plan out my dream house and actually have it built, and decorate it exactly how I want it
Find my 'style'
Do some movie acting, even if it's small-time, but preferrably side-by-side with one of my favorite actors...
Buy a brand new, never-before-owned car
Own a customized GT500 Shelby, my dream car - black or red with cherry-red/black interior and leopard accents
Rebuild a car (maybe the Shelby)
Learn various instruments (guitar, piano, cello, violin, bass, doumbek, bodran)
Stop caring about what other people think of me
Start my own business(es)
Get my 'family tattoo' (and HOPEFULLY never feel the need for ink again, though I don't actually see that happening any time soon...)
Do something amazing for some charity, even if it's anonymous
Publish a novel, some of my poetry, and/or short stories
Write a play
Get my Marriage & Family Therapy license and start my own practice

If you didn't get a chance to checkout the store at http://brooksbot75.etsy.com here is a small sample of what you will find there. I'm also selling Gift Certificates so you can give the gift of metal bras without needing the measurements up front. If you like something and want it made to any size just let me know. I make most all of them one at a time now so it helps if you visit my fitting page at http://wiki.therobotgroup.org/wiki/BraSizingGuidelines or the folder of the same name in MyPhotos. We are all doing well. Sarah's busy going to school full time, taking in a part time job at TBN during her breaks, and looking forward to Fernando's visit this coming Christmas. It will be his second Christmas with us. Ill have to post a picture of Dave in a goth outfit that he barrowed for Halloween. It will give you a good laugh.
Would you mind if we posted this on your comments to help spread the word for our next special event? FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9TH - Andromeda's Annual Pre-Halloween Costume Party with all your favorite music spun by our fabulous resident DJs: Liquid SEX Drive & Machine Gun Suicide. Prepare for a spookilicious evening! Check our page for details.
After a full year of rewriting my novel, the second edition is finally finished and off to the printer. This time I used my own name and I'll stand by the work (as nasty as it is). It is a story you will not soon forget. The publisher has dubbed it, "The Most Dangerous Vampire Story Ever Told". There is truth to this.
You can pre-order now (the book will be out in about a week) and I will sign it anyway you desire, or wait for it on Amazon (about three weeks). For pre-orders, go to my website: www. r- hole. com/ products.asp
Have a great weekend. Thank you for your support as always! Randy V
