Well, hello. Let's give this a try.
A writer by day and a musician by night, I've somehow spent the last 10 years of my life writing songs that only a few respectable walls in my places of residence have heard, and the occasional friend or coffee shop crowd. My dearest friends and family keep telling me that I need to change that. So here I am, in the midst of the back and forth of trying to get something off the ground.
I make an effort to write my songs from a place that is genuine. I am certainly not the best singer or songwriter in a land full of fellow indie musicians and fiercely talented legends (nor do I seek to be). I'm not trying to to "make it" or be anything more than what I truly am. All I know is that I have something to offer, something genuine and creative, and that just might be something you enjoy/need.
Somehow we find ourselves at the beginning of April 2009 now. My project has been slow to start, to say the least, amid many other creative endeavors and a mildly gigantic transition. But really, I have a strong disdain for excuses (especially ones of the extremely lame variety), so I will leave it at that. I am slowly building this place. If you're still with me, keep an eye out for a few shows coming up and some admittedly rough tracks to show up here in this little space on the mighty interweb.
