About me:

When I started The Heartland Bakery in 2001, I wanted to create a company that provides a great tasting variety of baked goods, as well as a wholesome, all-natural alternative for today's health-conscious consumers. All of our breads are sweetened with raw local honey and made with 100% fresh ground whole wheat flour that is certified chemical-free and non-GMO. All of our baked goods are completely free of artificial additives and preservatives too.

Send an email to Laura@TheHeartlandBakery.com to place an order or stop by the Franklin Farmers Market and visit us (May-Oct).

Incredible! I wish it had been the cake equivalent to the everlasting gobstopper. Heartland should work on that. I'm afraid I don't have Slugworth's number, so it may take a while.

You're so awesome for remembering. We're 22 now! Or is it 21? It may be good to skew younger.

I made the Rosemary White Bean Soup yesterday. It is quite delicious, especially after a reheat.

I'm ready for them to make a Larabar covered in organic peanut butter! YUM!

You haven't happened to find a good Gluten-free, Dairy-free Pumpkin Muffin recipe, have you?

Maybe you could just experiment...
Pumpkin
Almond Flour
Eggs
Cinnamon
Agave
Apple Sauce?
Baking Soda
Vanilla Extract

I don't know. You are the genius!

When we get back from NY I think you, your mom, and I should come up with a reason for another party. Perhaps a halloween theme? ha. See you tonight!

Your bread is AWESOME. I plan on buying a loaf or two from you soon since being a poor college student has many drawbacks (i.e. having little to no food!).

laura-
thank you so much for the loaves of bread!they were a big hit as gifts. i was told that it was "absolutely delicious" by one family, "some of the best toast ever" by another family, and ian leach said that he was, " proud that this was the only loaf of bread from the heartland bakery in michigan."

an over all success i must say.

thanks again!
