About me: Musician’s Ear Valves (patented) are special purpose hearing protectors for musicians and music industry personnel.
Standard earplugs typically attenuate the sound fairly evenly across the entire frequency spectrum, making for a dull, muddled sound. Though this is better than receiving permanent hearing damage, it's actually the higher frequency sounds that cause the most harm.
These Musician’s Ear Valves provide 6dB of attenuation below 1 kHz, and up to 23dB at 8 kHz. The effect is that sounds maintain much more of their original tonal balance than with ordinary earplugs and yet you still get very good protection from the damaging high-frequency noise.

B@M provides a fully equipped band rehearsal facility, the Boiler Room, now in the first stage to expand into a recording studio under a Royalties for Regions grant. We offer vocational and personal skills development for youth related to music and production, and in 2008 have won/finalised in 7 WA state awards. We organise quarterly all-ages concerts at Manjimup Town Hall, featuring local bands and some of the finest up-and-coming WA acts.
