Originally from Upstate New York, Chris DuPre and his family moved to Nashville in the fall of 2004 after spending the last 13 years in Kansas City, Missouri. Chris was the worship pastor at Mike Bickle's Metro Christian Fellowship for almost 10 years and worked alongside Mike in 1999 to help start the International House of Prayer. A pastor and teacher, Chris served as the Director of the School of Worship and was instrumental in training up worship leaders, musicians, and singers to serve the Lord and encourage His Church. With a Psalmist's heart, Chris has been writing songs for years that speak of God's greatness and beauty. Chris's heart is to help people understand the liberating effect that God's affection has on the human heart and how this revelation can empower us to be a vibrant, confident Bride.
