About me:
Hearts & Iron is a continuing series about a couple, John Sullivan and Carl Hanson, written and drawn by Jeff (me), a middle-aged dude who lifts weights, draws and plays a little guitar. John and Carl made their publishing debut in Gay Comics #25 in a one page episode. As competitive athletes who don’t live in a major urban center or a gay ghetto, they may challenge ideas of what gay people are like. Their path will take them into scuffles in which they turn the tables on gay bashers, and into competition in strongman events like the Highland games. A current story arc sets the characters in ancient Greece, and explores themes of mythology and science fiction.

Who I'd like to meet:
I've met many people I admired in the bodybuilding and strength scene and they were all cool - I'd like to meet characters out of myth like Herakles and Thor! Heroes from history.... Michelangelo, Mark Twain, Albert Einstein, Theodore Sturgeon, Issac Asimov....and way back in the Paleolithic, the artist(s) who did the cave paintings!
