Frank ‘Heat’ Rivera was born and raised on Florida Ave in Atlantic City, New Jersey. With influences such as Raekwon and Nas, Heat started out writing rhymes at the age of 16 and producing music out of a home studio. With his neighborhood loving and supporting his music, he made the decision to work hard at becoming a professional Artist. Frank was given the name “Heat” by his people in his hood as they claimed he “spits dat heat”. The name stuck and the age of Heat began to spread beyond his people and across the underground hip hop community. .... 9 underground releases later, heat has recently pushed 30,000 CDs through the Hip Hop underground. Heat cites God as his true inspiration followed by many other legends in the Rap Game like Jay Z, B.I.G. and Mobb Deep; all of these have lead him down the path of success in the last few years. In some time, Heat took fellow Artist Jerzy Devil under his wing and began working with Darkchild Super Producer, Rodney Jerkins. Heat scored a gig on the “My Baby Daddy” soundtrack with a song called “Watch Ya Girl” around the same time he worked with the R&B sensation Known as Cobe entitled “Love Me No More” along with Producer Jim Jones. .... Heat then went on to working with Ex G-Unit member The Game, while relocating to Hollywood, California. There he became a member of the Black Wall Street Family for 2 years while tearing up the mix tape world along side of The Game. Creating a great buzz about his name and work, he felt confident and stepping into the light on his own. After a brief stint there as a solo Artist with Top Of The World Records, Heat was a single agent until found a new life with Granite Inc. .... Now at the top of his own game, Heat’s new album titled “Back From Hell...” pushes the boundaries of what we know about Hip Hop and tells you where he’s been.
