Die Young Stay Pretty
Started out to elivate homesickness by bringing London to Reading. In 2006, the night at Plug n Play, attracted top notch live bands, the likes of Rebus, Somebody's Mind, Mr Derry, SixNationState, Mr Fogg, The Race, The Peaks, Switches, Pink Grease, Humanzi and The Rifles. Like a phoeniex from the ashes, Die Young Stay Pretty is back - bigger, better, faster, stronger.
Now the best indie/alternative student club night and fanzine in Reading has now moved to the legendary After Dark club, every Thursday from 9th Oct 2008. None of this happy hour nonsense, we have the cheapest bar prices in town all the time. Vodka mixer £1.50, double £2.50. Playing the latest in new music with the occasional old skool classic until 2am and as if this wasn't enough we also bring the hottest up-and-coming live bands from around the UK to perform for your sonic pleasure.
Heathen produces a fanzine for Die Young Stay Pretty rammed with reviews, previews, interviews and features. More importantly, features work from aspiring writers, artists, poets, photographers, illustrators, promoters or simply people with something to say. Regardless of the topic, send it in and we will publish it. Get in touch with any contributions/feedback.
If you're a DJ, musician, journalist, photographer, graphics designer, web guru, publicist, wannabe label boss or just want to join the revolution, we want to hear from you. Please get in contact via our email below and come say hello to us on the night dieyoung.stayprettyclub@live.com or click here!

Hailed by BBC Berkshire as one of the best nights in Reading. The revolutionary club night offers 6 cross-genre acts on either the Hullabaloo stage or the HeBGBs stage. Bands that have graced the Screwball stage include Pure Reason Revolution, the mighty SixNationState, Aqua Livi & The Roots Imansion, Pete & The Pirates, Suitable Case For Treatment, Carter, Hundred Handed, The Palestinians, Through Snowy Static, Three Litre, Shorty and Kraked Sound System.
