Heather's distinctive voice sings in a powerful accapella style. Her "Human Being" song expresses lyrics about equality, human rights, divisions in society... she offers the question "can LOVE be a label for a human being? instead of man, woman, gay, straight, young, old, black or white? How might this change the world?"

Heather Frahn is one of the artists pioneering the ‘conscious music movement’ in Australia. Heather’s album “We Are One” is a collection of songs reflecting humanity and life. Her lyrics express lessons learned and explore questions asked about humanitarian, philosophical, social, spiritual & political issues that are common to human beings globally.
Dashing in folk, funk, roots and acoustic groove, “We Are One” is a musical blend for the ears embracing stripped down acoustic songs to full band arrangements. The album was produced by ARIA Award Winner Richard Pleasance (also produced Kate Cebrano/Jimmy Little/Deborah Conway/Sophie Koh/Augie March/Boom Crash Opera), and was recorded in the beautiful surrounds of Dayelsford Victoria.
Heather’s album is of outstanding quality, and her Award Winning vocals on “We Are One” are a tour de force due to her ability to beautifully phrase lyrics, that a lesser vocalist would stumble over. Blessed with a rich, powerful voice, more than just a singer, Heather is a passionate, expressive song stylist.
This album is recommended to those who enjoy reading authors such as Eckhart Tolle, Osho, Lama Surya Das, and if you enjoy songwriters such as Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Tracy Chapman, Michael Franti, John Butler Trio, Luka Bloom or Ani Defranco.

THE HEATHER FRAHN TRIO
Since returning from an international solo tour to Belgium late 2006, Adelaide singer/songwriter Heather Frahn has taken yet another exciting turn in her musical journey of 14 years and formed her Trio, presenting their fresh and funky sound.
From receiving a standing ovation at the 2007 Australian Blues Music Festival for their debut performances, Heather's trio has fast become a stand out on the roots music scene. They've busily toured Australia's regional and major cities through SA, VIC, NSW, ACT and TAS generating fans and momentum.
The Trio sound features Heather's skillful dynamic earth vocals, custom 8 string hybrid bass-guitar, lap slide guitar and bouzouki. She's joined by outstanding musicians Ryan Maguire playing harmonica and Daniel Seymour playing drums and percussion. Together they funk up rootsy grooves delivering an energetic, interactive and innovative live show!
Their new cd titled ‘synergy’ was produced by David Briggs (of Little River Band fame!) and consists of five catchy tunes capturing the Trio’s unique sound.
