Music from my heart(land). I'm the child of a soul-singer from Detroit who lived in a trailer high in the Blue Mountains, well, cuz she had a way with snakes...and after a couple years caught a bus to San Francisco landing, just in time, 1965 - I came along a couple years later in Sausalito. George Jones, Marvin Gaye and Bob Dylan had equal rotation in my house. Gladys Knight, Melissa Manchester and Christine McVie were my favourite vocalists to sing with as a kid. After that...The Pretenders, The Clash and U2. Everything in between happened, Black Sabbath even happened. Cracker, Morphine and Uncle Tupelo changed my life and everything I learned laying on the floor in front of the brown-mesh speakers that my Mom had came burning back; Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Charlie Rich, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings and Emmylou - ALL of that - THAT is what I sound like.

I'm Stevie Eyebrows. Let's see if we can't join each others gang. I already requested that you join my crew. I joined up because I saw you bragging about your new shotgun. I fractured my left hip in a bicycle accident and will have 8 weeks of fully paid vacation. Including a visiting physiotherapist and house keeping. Sweet but it hurts like hell. They had to insert a 3 inch pin and secure it with a metal plate. Ouchie! But I'm in good spirits and plan to write a short story in the downtime. I'll call you soon.
