I'm Back!!! Next gig is July 11th @ 6pm at Union Pub in Houston, Texas! It's Girl Jam 6 and it will rock!

Heather's second album, El Dorado, has landed and is available for purchase at all her live shows and on CD Baby and Itunes. El Dorado is the culmination of Heather's blood, sweat and tears and she is proud to have produced such a stellar body of work that was 4 years in the making!

Oh and by the way....the album's title track, El Dorado, is on the frickn radio, baby! Many thanks to friends, family and fans....you rock!

For those of you who’ve been sitting on the edge of your bed, pining for some fresh music that fills that void in between Sara McLachlan, Terri Clark and Patrice Pike- today is your lucky day: meet Heather Knox. With Rock n’ Roll blonde locks and a young voice aged with experience, Heather Knox is the latest singer/songwriter to turn heads. Her skill on the guitar mixed with her innate ability to turn poems into song verses, easily churns up memories and emotions in each audience. Heather Knox slipped onto the Dallas music scene in 1999 after playing one original song at the open mic night at Club Dada in Deep Ellum and soon after secured a semi-finalist position in the annual B.W. Stevenson Memorial Songwriter Competition at Poor David's Pub. This was enough to get her hooked. After 4 years of a full-time job and minimal performing, enough was not enough; she dropped her day gig and started working on her first record. She brings together a sweet mix of country, alternative rock and indie folk, with a touch of lyrical burning passion. ..

....every moment of this crazy and unpredictable life and my friends, family and strangers make some sort of impression on me. i've even been inspired by a bottle of water....we'll get to that later. i have a great group of friends and a pup that rocks the freeworld too.
