Most shows are solo or duo, but the full band is: Heather/piano/keyboard/vocals Keith Hershberger/rhythm guitar/vocals Vince Camut/lead guitar/pedal steel Randy Venturini/bass/producer Ray DeFade/drums
I also work with Joe Waslousky/drums (Jack to My Friends), and have worked with Dale Cinski (Icecream Headache) and Korel Tunador (Katy Perry, Goo Goo Dolls), John Purse (Crawlin' Low, OPEK), and Jim Relja (Regular Joes). My duo with Keith Hershberger is called the Too Tall Americanos.
Influences
Poets, mostly. Folks like Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Sting, Suzanne Vega, Mark Eitzel, Kate Bush, Me'Shell N'degeoCello, Edie Brickell, k.d. lang. Just bought the new Kathleen Edwards album and Neko Case...and how much do I adore Mindy Smith and everyone who produces her great songs?!
Sounds Like
People say all kinds of things (Shawn Colvin, Jill Sobule, Lisa Loeb, Carole King, Norah Jones, Suzanne Vega and on and on)...but I'd say I sound mostly like a rainy Saturday morning, honey on ice-cream and echos of the still small voice...
.
My new album, Hestia, is now available for purchase online, at my live shows, by direct mail, and is now available at iTunes. I'd love to hear from you, H

Joy - the new tracks sound great! I still love "Joy comes like the morning" and still walk around my house singing the chorus. Best of luck with the new CD. Happy New Year, Patti
Heather! I've been meaning to tell you this forever. I've been listening to the CD you gave me at Connections (the one with Shine on it). I've been listening to it non-stop. It is so inspiring. Blessings!
Here's a scootin' video of the group I ride with every Sunday. They took it in April, thus the jackets, not summery shorts. Take note of the ferry ride across the Mississippi River! Cool, huh? The dude Joe who shot it was wielding a camera with one hand while driving his Vespa with the other! Crazy!!
Hi Heather - I still have your "Joy comes like the Morning" song rattling around in my head. Great tune! Let me know if you ever need a guitarist. Take care, Patti
