Heather left her Southern roots to head west toward California, after a year long post-graduation European backpacking adventure. She started her career in San Francisco and moved to LA to write the music for her EP. Heather's new EP will be released in the next few months, so please stay tuned! .. .. Heather has opened for Fiona Apple and Tori Amos at The Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA. She recently wrote a new song with Keb Mo' called, "The Pretty Girl Blues", which will be released in 2009. Her first record, "Mosaic", was released on Itunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and Rhapsody. She appeared in Music Connection Magazine as "LA's new artists to watch" this past year. Heather's single, "Sense of Me", was awarded "Song of the Year" for the West Coast Songwriter's International Song Competition in 2006 and was awarded "2007 Honorable Mention" for The Billboard Songwriting Competition . .. .. Heather has co-written and recorded with Keb Mo', Bonnie Hayes (Bonnie Raitt) and Narada Michael Walden (Jeff Beck, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston).
