Heather appeared in the 2007 November issue of Music Connection Magazine as "LA's new artists to watch". Heather recently wrote a new song with Keb Mo'. Heather's first record, "Mosaic", was released on Itunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and Rhapsody (Stellina Records, 2007). Heather's single, "Sense of Me", was awarded "2006 Song of the Year" for the West Coast Songwriter's International Song Competition. Her original composition, "Sense of Me," was produced and co-written with legendary songwriter Bonnie Hayes (Bonnie Raitt) and Matthew Schoening. Heather has opened for Fiona Apple and Tori Amos at The Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Heather was raised in Dallas, Texas by her New York City native mother and Ohio native father. Heather left her Southern roots to head west toward California, after a year long post-graduation European backpacking adventure. Heather has been performing professionally over the last seven years and has made special appearances in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Austin, TX and Milan, Italy. Heather was awarded "2007 Honorable Mention" for The Billboard Songwriting Competition for her original song, "Sense of Me." Heather has co-written and recorded with Keb Mo’, Bonnie Hayes (Bonnie Raitt) and Narada Michael Walden (Jeff Beck, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston). Heather has performed at the legendary South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, TX., as well as with the world-renowned San Francisco Glide Ensemble Gospel Choir, home to Cecil William's Glide Church and at Michael Beckwith’s Agape Church in Los Angeles, CA.
She currently lives in Santa Monica, CA.
