heatherlyn's hope: "good music illuminates the soul. when people listen to music that speaks to them in a way they can't understand, a less familiar part of who they are surfaces. whenever i sing, my hope is always that someone listening will rediscover something inside of themselves that they had forgotten about, potential to make a difference, a painful place that needs healing, a centering point that they have long wondered from in the business of life, a peaceful place or resolve they didn't know they had within themselves. maybe that's a lot to hope for. but there is more in motion here besides what we see on the surface. that's surely feeling you can't ignore when you're listening to great music."
