I love all kinds of styles of music. The Rock of the early 70's is by far my favorite. Like Zep, Hendrix, The Doors, Stones, Deep Purple, Aerosmith ect...I love alot from the "Seatle sound" Sound Garden, Alice, ect... I guess as a drummer I always craved to hear an even older sound - something that maybe resonated with a deeper part of me - deeper roots, I seemed to have found that in the African music mostly but not limmited to West Africa, Senigal, Burkino Fasso and Mali. The artist that are coming out of those countrys today are totally mind blowing and soul soothing. Some of my Favs are Salif Kaita, Youssou N' Dour, Baba Maal and Ali Farka Toure. For Reggea - it's Bob all the way!!

HaHa! Oh well, he looks like a girl! Hahahahaha! And I know we both prefer the more feminine looking men anyway, right? So he fits right in! Banners favorite song was Margaritaville! Seriously, I used to sing it to him as we were walking thru the hills, walking the concrete streets, he always was happy and enjoyed my singing. He probably thought I was crazy.
