   About Heather Myles
Heather Myles grew up on a ranch in Riverside California where she was inspired by the music of artists like George Jones, Buck Owens and Loretta Lynn. Her family raised horses and Heather had a job in the family business until the lure of the honky-tonks called her away.

With a voice that garnered comparisons to Tammy Wynette and Patsy Cline, it wasn't long before Myles was receiving rave reviews on two continents and charming arena-sized crowds opening for acts like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Ricky Skaggs. For the past decade, she has toured tirelessly, developing a rabid following among fans of real country music throughout the US, Europe and England.

Heather Myles is still proudly wearing the country flag and taking no prisoners with her new CD, In The Wind. Songs like Broke and Brokenhearted will have fans of Merle Haggard cheering in the stands, and her duet with Willie Nelson, Don’t Call Me, is proof once again, that Willie is ageless. Fiddles cry, pedal steel twangs and most of all, songs from In The Wind stick in your head and you find yourself singing them over and over.

Songs like In The Wind and Pretty Poison should make Sheryl Crow drool. My Baby's Good To Me is reminiscent of the great blues sound of Stevie Ray Vaughan, so Heather's new album has something for everyone!!

All in all, In The Wind is Heather’s best CD to date. Featuring co-producer Taras Prodaniuk (Dwight Yoakum, Lucinda Williams) on bass, Larry Mitchell and Jim Christie on drums (Dwight Yoakum, Tony Furtado, Lucinda Williams), and Bob Ryan on guitar, Heather is a modern Loretta Lynn meets Ann Wilson, with big vocals, bigger songs and a strength that admirers of great music can sink their teeth into.

Look for In The Wind to be out in early 2010…….and while you’re out there – do your friends a favor and tell them about Heather Myles. They’ll thank you!

Tomorrow in Gold
09 November 2009

To live forever,
was to love you
Like tomorrow in gold

Not lost in the light,
shielded from your eyes
Or your kiss, burning,
ever upon my soul

Your voice an echo,
never in silence upon my heart
Our love to hold and embrace,
ever beauty, ever face to face

An eternity, never,
chosen as you in me
As if we came together,
in a moment of magic

The spell under our mind of our Lord
This miracle of mercy,
embossed upon our hearts

Like standing on top of a mountain,
looking down at the path before our feet
The night to turn to day,
the day to always be night

If only we could begin again,
long before we were born
Then we already know the truth,
we already know the path worn

Emeralds and blue,
sapphires and diamonds
The taste of blood inside our truth,
now we are immortal, now we do love

Eternal life, the gift of all to live,
Our world an escape,
from all forms of harm

Born to be as one
Childhood, ours to atone,
always together, always alone

Hey Heather,
Thanks for coming to Buffalo, NY and I'm glad to say I was the first customer for your new CD. In the Wind, Mama's A Star and your duet with Willie are my favorites but all the songs are great! I hope you had a good time at the "Sportsmen's", your singing was all any real country music lover could ask for. I know your visit to Buffalo and Niagara Falls was brief but I hope you enjoyed your visit. Everyone enjoyed your show and I hope you had a safe trip home. Right now I'm putting your new CD on the jukebox in my family room along with all your other CD's so anyone dropping by at my home can enjoy listening to them. We all hope you'll come back our way soon so we all can enjoy "REAL" country music!

I added Heather Myles because my good friend, Guyanne McCall had Heather as a friend. Figured she HAD to be good. But lately, I've been listening to my friend Willie's XM station (XM-13, "Willie's Place") and they play a LOT of Heather Myles. That is a GOOD thing. I have always said if you don't like Country, you won't like me. Well I LOVE Heather Myles!!! She is Country as the harnass section of the Sears Catalog.
You GO, Gurl!!!

Heather to Grow
10 March 2009

Your kindness goes beyond
the length of a soul
A heart for all seasons,
a heather to grow

The sound of silence,
a child’s cry
The sweetness of motherhood,
beauty, within your eye

This happiness, this truth,
the dream of the night before
Going forward, judged in faith,
eyes to delight, a smile to cheer

Memories, thoughts for those sad days,
the birth of a beginning,
the birth of yesterday
A heart for all seasons,
this flower of a winter’s day
