Performing professionally since 1999 as a singer/bass player/double bass player, Heather is influenced by the many different styles that she has performed in.
At the age of 27, Heather has already had a wealth of experience. From touring the U.K. and Europe with original band, “The Good” (www.myspace.com/thegoodband), to playing the Double Bass for professional orchestras (including The Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria), Heather’s passion for music is expressed not only through her energetic performances but also in her own compositions.
Her upbringing in the Uniting Church of Australia planted in her a strong Christian faith and a hunger for social justice.
Through composing Christian music, Heather combines her two passions to produce music with depth and a simple, inclusive, and personal theological message.

Heather currently teaches singing, guitar, bass guitar, music theory and song writing from her private studio in Melbourne.

Hi Heather!! Yeah I’m good and back home, enjoying of my friends and family. Yes you were a good influence in my life, some times haha (joking). Yeah of course I will go and see you in some time more and I hope to see you on a big stage and singing for sure hehe. Greg still is in Newcastle thinking in going to Queensland for some action haha, people say soccer is better over there.

Hey Hey Heather! It’s nice and warm up here (most days). I like it. It’s not too hot and not too cold… Everything up here is going well. We had Louis first birthday last weekend which was cute. And I’m finally getting my act together signing up for short courses for the remainder of this year. When are you coming up? We’ll def catch up. I still have to organise a trip down there to see wicked. Are you and Adam still interested in coming with us? (All is good if you have seen it already). Ok, I have once again written too much. Hey H (I think I have given in to it..) Yeah the trip was good. And yes at one stage we were on the beach in Barcelona. Although it wasn't my fav place. It was so hot in the city... Can't handle it. We went up to Newy for Dad's thing which was very nice, and caught up with the fam. I like Nee's new hair cut. :-) Good that your ears are better and that you are getting to play again. I'll pop down and see you guys soon. I've never been to Melbourne! I know. Tragic! ps, good work on the Stevie tickets!
