About me:
Music, entertainment, and professional audio journalist, author, and contributing editor to Mix magazine. My work has appeared in Mix, Pro Audio Review, Electronic Musician, GreenCine.com, Performing Songwriter, Audio Media, No Depression, and Country Music magazine, among others. Served on the Board of Directors for the Nashville Association of Professional Recording Services (NAPRS) from 1995 - 2003. Currently serve on the Board of Governors for the San Francisco Chapter of the Recording Academy. Finished my first book: If These Halls Could Talk: A Historical Tour Through San Francisco Recording Studios (Course Technology PTR) in May 2006, followed by Born in a Small Town: The John Mellencamp Story (Omnibus) in November 2007. In addition to loads of feature articles, I also write artist bios, newsletters, liner notes, and misc marketing/publicity materials.
So that's work. I'm also a competitive long-distance runner, and run with a super running club called the KStars (kstars.org) and race with New Balance Excelsior and the Pamakid Runners. My cat, Soleil, likes to run around the apartment and sit on my lap while I type.
