Heather, an Oklahoma Native, grew up as one of eight children in a musical family. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, she moved to Los Angeles and began playing concerts at venerable venues such as the House of Blues and The Troubadour in Los Angeles and in New York City at The Oak Room and Joes Pub. Most recently Heather performed at the Lincoln Center in a tribute to Jazz legend Barbara Carroll.
Heathers voice and original songs have been featured on HBO's Sopranos, Oprah, MTV, CBS's Thats Life and numerous national commercials.
Her songs continue to be among the favorites for fans of General Hospital, Passions & Guiding Light. She performed Live on the Soaptalk Network in 2004 featuring her Daytime hit Love Come Down.
In 2006 Heather released her fifth album titled Mermaid to Butterfly, co-written by her longtime musical partner, Emmy award-wining producer Ron Alan Cohen. In 2006 the compilation CD Beautiful Embrace was released in the UK featuring Heathers song 'Love Come Down', alongside such artists as Sarah Mclachlan, Bryan Adams and Vince Gill.
Heather has traveled to over 50 countries with her music and photography including a performance for the American Embassy in Cairo on September 11, 2001. In 2002, Heather and her mother, Elizabeth released a book of their Poetry and Photography titled Voices of a 'Mother and Daughter' In 2005 and are looking forward to their new photography & poetry book to be released in 2008.
