Epic Mountain
With 4,800 acres, we are one of North America's largest mountains. At over 10,000 feet, we are Tahoe's highest. Our 3,500 foot vertical is unmatched on the West Coast. And our average annual snowfall is a formidable 360 inches. And just in case that's not enough for you, we have one of the largest snowmaking systems on the continent at the ready, covering 70% of the mountain.
Let's talk terrain. Put simply, we've got it all, from breezy blue squares to hair-raising black diamonds. There's no better tree skiing on earth. And experts will have a field day at Mott and Killebrew canyons. This is what other mountains want to be when they grow up. This is Heavenly.
Who I'd like to meet: Skiers and riders of all ages interested in long runs, quick lifts and spending time together in the trees.

The "video snack" on the website is fabulous. For those who haven't checked it out, you can watch everything from the humble Heavenly Valley beginnings to the Gondi install to every Warren Miller segment. Super-impressive stuff. Thanks, Heavenly! ~Jerry
We got back a week and a half ago from a wonderful 8 days out there. We had powder for a few days, and 45 degrees and sunny for the rest! And, on February 29th, I got engaged in the middle of the Milky Way Bowl! Heavenly is and will always be a special place for me, I can't wait to get back next year!
Hey there - Happy Leap Day! Didn't make it UP the mountain, but my 2 year old made his debut on First Ride today. He was the adorable one in the white helmet. What better day to test out your skis on the snow instead of the living room carpet or the back deck? Take care, see you after the weekend crowd... E
Yes, yet another amazing day... a little windy on top, but we know where to go when the wind blows - or I know where I like to go... and I'm not telling (hee hee). Got to watch a few attempts at the new SUPER PIPE, open today!! Not great for "Jean Claude" who crashed in pole bangers, broke a pole and got snow-burn (oops!). Tomorrow, leap year, should be a good day to start my son on snow, he's tired of wearing his skis around the house, especially after watching the RATS race and riding the tram for the first time ;) C U @ CA base
WOW!!! Another amazing day on the mountain. We truly live in paradise. Even got a ski lesson from my favorite Salomon pro "Jean Claude" as he likes to call of himself. Worked me and my brain into exhaustion.
Well, see you again soon, maybe tomorrow to watch the RATS race or Thursday skiing again.
