Heaven's Echo - Formed in North London in 1989, school friends David Casson
and Paul H meet wannabe drummer Sean Kelly at a party. Discovering they had
similar musical tastes, they set about starting a band. David had been
playing guitar and singing for a few months, Sean had been playing drums
since Boys Brigade and Paul could play f*ck all (some would say he still
can't), so being a lazy bugger he took up bass. Within a year they were
regulars on the London Indie scene and were signed to safe sex records for
which they recorded 'Something For Someone' for a compilation album of new
London talent. Late in 1990 they were joined in the band by James N Kook on
lead guitar and keyboards. Now they were really finding their feet and
wanting to distance themselves from their amaturish early efforts, in 1991
they changed the band name to 'The Sway' and some minor success soon
followed. see http://www.myspace.com/theswaylondon and www.thesway.net
