August brings extreme aggression from the Heavy Artillery camp,
this time in the form of the debut album by EXMORTUS. Featuring cover artwork by the legendary Kris Verwimp (Arch Enemy, Absu, Marduk, Immortal and many others) "in hatreds flame" is an eleven track neo-classical death/thrash assault. CD available now, limited edition vinyl coming August 13th. Preview the entire album at http://www.myspace.com/exmortus
From humble beginnings in a dusty southeast LA garage during early 2006... Exmortus, armed with influences ranging from Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Yngwie Malmsteen to Slayer, Marduk and Deicide, quickly evolved to become Southern California’s foremost masters of guitar-oriented metal, the likes of which have not been seen for many years. From their technical death-thrash riffage and surgically precise drumming to their neo-classical, twin virtuoso lead guitar attack, fans of death metal, thrash, prog, NWOBHM and all true metal sub-genres enjoy having their craniums crushed by the fury of Exmortus!

G.L. Giles's latest release, "Days and Nights in Summerville" includes some of her new vampire/vampyre tales. Though not technically part of her series, the stories are inspired by their energy: Mainly the energy of "V3: The Vampire Vignettes ReVamped" which a reworked version of her first two books ("The Vampire Vignettes" and "V2:B4"), so it stands alone.
