As an MC my main influences include: Rakim, KRS-1, Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Chuck-D, Kool Keith, Ice Cube, 2 Pac, Biggie, Big L, Nas, Jay-Z, Scarface, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang (particularly GZA and Method Man), Guru, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Kurupt, Rass Kass, Xzibit, Tash, Treach, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, OGC, Heltah Skeltah, Black Moon, Smiff-N-Wessun, Redman, Erick Sermon & Keith Murray.
M.O.S., based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne represents UK hip hop from a different angle; as a young asian male having grown up in the UK. His lyrics are articulate, sharp, metaphorical and politically conscious. Musically funk driven beats with elements of jazz, soul and desi vibes.
