About me:

A high school club that exists simply to appreciate the lesser known heaviness from the underground, and occasionally above ground, music scene. The club is new this year, and is a vehicle for hanging out and appreciating/discussing/arguing metal. We meet after school on Wednesdays in Room S135 (the media lab) at 2:45-all are welcome. We have listening days and also screen DVD concerts on the "big" screen. Plans for the future include music sharing and swap day, concert events, and plans to host some live music events as well. Or whatever else the members hope to do.....

Who wants to take all of these suggestions and make a Metal Club: Brutal compilation? While they may not be as brutal, I love the anger of Eyehategod. The first 30 seconds of their first record (In the Name of Suffering) is an amazing piece of brutal, guttoral vocals.....I....LET MYSELF....GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Westview Metal Club	Aug 10 2009 9:14 PM Yep-killer song that made me want to pummel, but it didn't make me want to curl up in the fetal position because I thought I was being stalked by some freak who wanted to use me in a ritual of some sort like Deicide does. Really dig the band, I added them. And they have El Cerdo from PDX as one of their friends! Good find.
