About me:
Ray Jackson is a 40 year old mentally disabled entertainer and performer from the Victorian Seaport city of Port Townsend, Washington. Ray suffers from a combination of ADHD, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder.
He’s also pretty severely hyper-active, kind of obsessive, very out spoken about political issues and has a tenacious personality bent on never ending self promotion.
Oh yeah, and he wants to be a rock/rap superstar (or already believes he is depending on which day of the week you talk to him).
At this point Ray has 3 distinct personas going on-
1. Ray Jackson -mild mannered home-body who enjoys bowling, sports, Volkswagens and spending time with his wife Alice.
2. The Heavy Metal Warrior -thrash metal vocalist and all around underground superstar. Front man for the now defunct metal band S.M.F. Minors rights activist and fearless crusader against the ever encroaching evil of the Right-Wing Christian Conspiracy to stop Rock -n- Roll. Coined the term “Half Bald And Mentally Screwed”.
3. AK-47 -hard core gangsta rapper kickin’ nasty rhymes about small town thug life. Joined by his DJ and producer The Diabolical Dr. Neelsen (Len Enders). Together they bring the “hard beats to the hard streets” N.W.A. style. Coined the term “Handicap Rap”.
With the help and support of his best friend/manager/booking agent and mentor Len Enders, Ray has released 1 demo tape, 6 CDs and a couple home videos. He’s done about 25 live shows and guest appearances, performed on cable t.v. and done numerous autograph signing sessions.
