Heavy on the Ride formed on the 8th of April 2009 and we have been patiently taking our time to write our first set of songs to hopefully produce something unique.
We've recorded one song to date called "Cut it Loose" with Gethin Pearson, and also an untitled acoustic track to give a little taster into the early ideas forming in the band.
There's no gigs planned for 2009 but we're preparing to play a bunch of shows and record a debut ep to be released early in 2010, sit tight and keep checking back for info on here and our other sites!
We are aware that 1% of people actually check the music out when a comment like this is left, however, we have stuck our demo on our myspace and would appreciate it none the less if you gave us 10 minutes of your time.
Cheers man, No worries its just thats probably the venue thats best for us, we ha a great atmosphere last time, Them Crooked Vultures - FUCKING SWEET! Thanks, Adam x
Thanks guys, thats the sound we we're going for and a bit of QOTSA lol, If you wanna come and see us best bet would be Monkey 16th Dec or Milkwood Jam 19th Nov, Love to gig with you sometime, your tunes are SWEET! Cheers, Adam
no problem and yeah your music is pretty cool, must go along to that first show. I've just moved over here from Ireland to do my final year in Video Production at Swansea Met and I was just looking through myspace for bands in the area that would maybe interested in either a live studio recording or a music video being made for them. Drop me a bell if you might be interested. Cheers, Rob
Hey guys Loving the sound! Gald you liked the tracks! Put you in touch with a gig organiser in Cardiff Student union if you are interested! We should gig soon Love OUI MESSY
Hey guys! Thanks for the kudos, loving the tunes, heard them when we recorded also, big sound! Yeh let us know if you know of any support slots, and we'll do like likewise.
Thanks for the compliments mate, we're going into a studio in Cardiff in September to record our 3-track EP and we're going to be re-recording Fall Apart as part of the demo so looking forward to that. Haven't had a chance to listen to your stuff yet but going to put the headphones on and have a ganders after I've walked the dog.
you've got the same problem as most of our members then :P
We go our almost every other day, but the bands we see are mostly the same people. But we get some lucky people here who get to see most of the bigger gigs. But again they have no sense of opinion and cannot describe what it was like :P
Well every little helps. we may track you down one day to do some review for us :)
