All about HEAVY ROT8TION LIVERPOOL!- Heavy Rot8tion started as a night called Diversity(with now Heavy Rot8tion promoter-Peter Mitchell) which was as the name says a diverse night mixing hip hop,breaks,house,drum&bass,ol skool,techno and basically everything!!!in March 2004. The first night was held at The Masque on Seel Street, from there it moved to Hannahs Bar on Hardman Street were it held a long residency. It then started nights in The Caledonia on Catherine Street at the start of the month and Hannahs at the end to double the mayhem!!!as well as doing nights in Bar Fresa on Colquitt Street. With all this going on Diversity had many talented djs/mcs&acts performing and passing through its door. Such as Djs-Frisk,Grimey,Sam Du Play,Furness,Venom,Oracle,Rob1,Roz,Markive,Rich Beats,Codek,Pumakain,Miss Rita the list is endless!alongside Mcs-Fury,SAS,Karlos and Salaar,Da Famo,Jackpot,Louis Cypher and again many more!!!After a short break and a change in the promotion team it was decided that Diversity was bettter suited to its main urban styles of breaks,drum&bass,ol skool,jungle,dubstep and grime,hence the change and the night now that we all know and love- HEAVY ROT8TION! which has held night in The Drezla, The Kebab House, The Caledonia and is now enjoying a sucessful residency at The Lemon Lounge on Berry Street in Liverpool city centre.Showcasing some of the rawest Northwest talented Djs/Mcs and Live Acts!!!!!!!!!!!
