About me:
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6!
These days I'm a grad student in Library Science and I work in a public library deep in the wilds of Northern Virginia. I also write reviews of books and graphic novels for a variety of publications, my own short fiction and I have have one really crappy novel on my resume with thoughts of another---hopefully better---one down the line.
And yes, I'm yet another geek with a blog. I don't use it to blab about getting drunk, what hot chick I saw on the metro, or anything else like that. It's mostly a combination of book reviews, listings and write-ups on arts events in the D.C. and Baltimore area. Drop by if you like. Or not (the banner just below give you the titles of my last few posts to give you a better idea...clicking on it takes you to site).
I'm not, btw, interested in dating, discreet encounters, or anything else along those lines. I'm very much attached to someone these days, so don't ask. If you just send me an invite to add you, chances are I will just delete it. Message me first, tell me about yourself and why you want to add me as a friend. If I know you in real life, through my blog, or through some other myspace group tell me who you are and I'll be more than happy to add you. If I don't know you in any way just tell me what about my profile interested you and what we might have in common to talk about. Serial adders, hoochie mamas and buff daddies need not apply. Sorry.

| Your Ideal Relationship is Serious Dating |
You're not ready to go walking down the aisle.
But you may be ready in a couple of years.
You prefer to date one on one, with a commitment.
And while chemistry is important, so is compatibility.

You keep it real smooth, all James Bond-style. The suave, international hotties will love you.
You’re sophisticated, mature, and you’ve got fairly expensive tastes. (And your personal hygiene? Outstanding.) Just be careful not to get too carried away. Big, bold romantic gestures are sexy and all, but there’s something to be said for sharing a laugh or dancing in the rain. (As long as you’re not wearing any suede.)

Who I'd like to meet:
Old friends I've lost track of and anyone from undergrad or grad school who just wants to say hello. Also anyone interested in art, writing, music, etc. Particularly in the D.C./Baltimore area. I hit readings, art openings, etc from time to time so you might see me out there. I also play bass guitar, so I'm up for chats on the woes of playing the bottom line.
