Heroes
"A hero is defined as one who risks there lives, in order to save the lives of others". While this is true, I believe a hero can be someone who makes the impossible possible, who can make something out of nothing, or someone that has a profound impact on your life. With that said, the following people, I consider heroes -
My parents- for somehow keeping our lives together and staying strong through all the hard times.
All of the armed services men and women stationed across the world- protecting our freedoms and taking the fight to the enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan so that we don't have to fight them over here. They deserve all the support in the world.
And also, Rabbi Meir Kahane- a hero to the Jews, who sadly was killed November 5th, 1990. He was the created of the Jewish Defense League (JDL) here in the United States, as well as the Kach political party in Israel. He was gunned down by El-Sayyid Nosair. Many would call him a racist hate monger. I wonder if these same people would label Yassar Arafat, Osama bin Laden, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, et al in the same manner.

About me: This is where I tell you who I am, where I come from, and you decide whether talking to me is a good idea, or a bad one. My life started in 1984 in the Bronx, New York. This makes me 24 25 years old. I spent 6 years (almost) there, moved to Middletown, New York. Lived THERE for 16 1/2 years. Moved down to Delray Beach, Florida in 2006. Spent just about 2 years, 3 months there. Now I'm in Spring Hill, Florida.
My life consists of - my parents, my dog, the Yankees, a circle of friends that's pretty modest, and a relatively laid back social approach. I don't add people just for the sake of having more friends on my list. If I add you and you don't respond to me, I delete you. I'm up for meeting anyone, but I'm not in it for a popularity contest.
I'm basically your typical New Yorker - I'm blunt, opinionated, not afraid to say how I feel, and don't take crap from anyone. I complain about the oppressive heat in the summer, and laugh at you Floridians in the winter when you all bitch about how cold it is, when it's a warm day in January where I'm from. I love the Yankees, I brag about their history, I gloat when they sign players, and I look down on the Red Sox and the Rays. I'm a Jets fan, and I despise Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. They are cheaters, period.
I'm also a Republican, and won't hide it. I avoid most liberals. I think Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should have been aborted. I view Obama as illegitimate and consider him a failure. I'm tired of hearing about Bush, the man is gone, get over it. I'm not anti-gay, and I'm not pro-life. But if you want to take more of my money to create more dependence on government, you can go fuck yourself.
I'm a Jew. A damn proud Jew. I support Israel 115%. I will not vote for any politician who doesn't share the same feeling. I will not befriend most Ron Paul supporters. I will not befriend anyone who's anti-zionism. I have dual loyalty, deal with it.
I'm a hyper-sensitive prick. I have OCD. This means that I over think everything, and hound people. If you say the wrong thing to me, I'm a New Yorker. If you touch the warm, fuzzy side of me, I'm a baby. I'm basically the Rush Limbaugh of life. You love me if you're my friend, you hate me if you're my enemy. I have enemies, oh yes I do. Many people wish they could turn back the clock to before I was conceived. You know what I say? fuck em. There was a time in my life where I cared what people said, and I depended on their acceptance. That time is history. If you care what people think and say, game's over. Treat others how you want to be treated, respect those that you want to have the respect of. Have a group of friends, and fuck the rest. You can't please everyone.
