About me:
In addition to serving up some of the most authentic and delicately prepared Mexican cuisine New York City has to offer, the aim of Hecho En Dumbo is to celebrate aspects of Mexican culture seldom represented in the States. In lieu of antiquated and rural stereotypes, the venue gives occasion to celebrate the contemporary, cosmopolitan culture of Mexico, with its extravagant urban centers and dynamic nightlife, that generates some of the most exciting artists, musicians, and filmmakers today.Hecho En Dumbo is open seven nights a week, operating out of the Dumbo General Store (sign simply reads, "cafe-bar").
The kitchen is open from 6PM to 10:30PM, Sunday through Wednesday, and 6PM to 12AM, Thursday through Saturday. We do not accept reservations.

My desire for writing is big now, I’m swallowing words
I’m trying not to write
I’m staring at this empty window
There is nothing in there
And words want to come out but I don’t’ let them
I’m jealous of my self
I don’t deserve such a big pleasure
But there is a need that I feel
A need of purity.
But I still won’t write
Although, I really want to.
