Hechi (aka Thomas Hechenberger) feels comfortable with many musical styles - plays Funk and Soul with the well known band "Big John & Vienna Soul Society" (also as an arrangeur for the horns) and Maalo (original own funky stuff), Jive all over Europe with well - known group "5 in Love", Balkan Pop with the "Grooveheadz Orchestra" and Funkrock with "Connect Da Groove", a power quartet in Chili Peppers Tradition. He is doing much studio work as a session guitarist for example for Erwin Kiennasts many projects and performances (also live) or for pop newcomer "Anik Kadinski" who is recently played on Austrias biggest radio station Ö3. His own project "Eosin Nova" he composed, arranged, produced for, finally got airplay on Austrias radio stations too.
A great honour for him is his recent entrance as a guitarist at the Burgtheater Vienna, he will do several shows in this worldwide known place playing all kinds of styles.
Furthermore he is a member of worldwide known groups "Waldeck" and "Saint privat", two bands that co-created the so-called Viennese dubsound, for which he is arranging, composing and doing much studio work too.
He also plays guitar for the last year Nr. 1 i - tunes Download chartbreakers "Coup de Bam", a turkish - austrian collaboration band.
For "Aromabar" - a HipHop/Dub/RnB Band, at least a big player of that style in Europe, Hechi comes into the boat and will go over Europe starting soon with great singer Big John and Karin Steger.
Besides that he is a member of the Viennese Gospel project "Favorythm Gospel Singers and Band". Furthermore he is showing off for galas and shows with "LNT (Lashes and Ties)", a first class show - coverband playing soul, funk and pop classics.
Another interesting band is "The Supertrash" Hechi plays guitar for - a formation full of energy between 70s rock, psychedelic, alternative and funky flair. They are played on Austrias big alternative radio station FM4.
New is his collaboration with Italian singer Lilli Castello. Old folk songs from Napoli and other prts of Italy interpreted in a very new and intimate way.
