Sounds Like
A miniature farm. A cat fighting a horses face. A trip to the Hinterlands. A stag do stepping on a landmine. The frenzied abortion juice of Gang of Four being swilled round the mouth of a Krautrock prostitute that's fucked on the skag of Sonic Youth, or something.
I hope you're sitting down friend.
Some interesting facts about Heck---------------
Mogs the drummer is a classically trained pianist and violinist. However, despite being a placid soul, he was once made to pay an £80 fixed penalty fine for throwing a thesaurus at a policeman. Later justifying his actions in court, Mogs told of his anger at the bobby's lack of vocabulary, and 'his disconcerting lust for power.'---------------
Mike the bassist met Jemma at art school in Cardiff. After graduating he taught bass to disadvantaged kids in Splott, but was sacked after slapping a boy who'd thrown coffee at a girl in a wheelchair. This is Mike's 'political correctness gone mad' story, and one he has told to a captivated audience at his local masonic lodge.---------------
Elis the guitarist actually had a jam with his politics lecturer during a seminar at Cardiff university. After a twenty minute chat about trade union legislation in the 1980s, the lecturer produced his trusty instrument and announced to the class that 'my philosophy is simple guys. Bass and middle settings on zero, treble on 10. Then it's foot on the monitor time.' Elis later described this experience as 'harrowing.'---------------
Jemma the singer was once described as a 'sexbomb' in an online review of her old band Sammo Hung. She dismissed this as being the 'flattering, but nonsensical ramblings of a pervert.' Eager not to have attention diverted away from the bands music, Jemma attacked the reviewer with a hammer.......
And thus Heck were born. They all like the same records, all share the same manic desire to spend time in tiny rehearsal rooms, and all like performing to 'the kids.'
They were always going to form a band, weren't they?

Go rock them cockneys! We're rocking the Lansdowne yet again this Saturday. If you find it's a tossup between picking navel fluff out or seeing us, I hope you'll choose us!
