.......... Héctor Marroquín nació en 1983 en Culiacán, Sinaloa, México. A los 11 años comenzó con las clases de música estudiando Corno Francés y teoría musical en la Escuela de Música Julián Carrillo en San Luis Potosí, México, donde él vivía. Su interés por la composición no tardó en aparecer lo que le llevó a aprender a tocar piano, de manera autodidacta, en casa. Durante los años en San Luis Potosí fué cornista en la Orquesta Juvenil Julián Carrillo, además de tocar en otros conjuntos como invitado y ser seleccionado un par de veces para los Encuentros Nacionales de jovenes músicos en la Ciudad de México. A los 17 años inicia los estudios universitarios de música en la Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) en Puebla, México, donde además forma parte del coro de la universidad. Durante los años 2003 y 2004 desarrolla los estudios de Composición, paralelamente con Corno, en la Universidad de la República en Montevideo, Uruguay. En dicha ciudad forma parte de dos orquestas juveniles y comienza a impartir clase de música a niños. Es ahí mismo donde aparecen las primeras audiciones públicas de sus obras en la universidad. Para el año siguiente se desarrolla como cornista en la Orquesta Sinfónica de San Luis Potosí, México, y como miembro activo del coro de tal ciudad. A finales del año 2005 llega a Berlín, Alemania para continuar sus estudios musicales tomando clases particulares tanto de corno como de Armonía y Contrapunto, componiendo además libremente durante los años siguientes. Actualmente toca como miembro activo en dos orquestas sinfónicas en Berlín además de desarrollarse como maestro privado de piano para niños y como compositor libre. Desde el año 2008 lleva a cabo la Maestría de Composición para Cine y Televisión (Filmmusik) en la Universidad de Cine y Televisión (Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen) "Konrad Wolf" en Potsdam, Alemania. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Héctor Marroquín wurde 1983 in Culiacán, Sinaloa (Mexiko) geboren. Mit 11 hat er angefangen, Horn und Musiktheorie an der Musikschule "Julián Carrillo" in San Luis Potosí (Mexiko), wo er damals lebte, zu lernen. Sein Interesse am Komponieren brachte ihn zum Klavierspielen, was er autodidaktisch gelernt hat. Während der Jahre in San Luis Potosí war er Mitglied in verschieden Jugendorchestern. Mit 17 fing er an, Musikwissenchaft an der Universidad de las Américas, UDLA (Puebla, Mexiko) zu studieren, wo er auch Teil des universitärischen Chors war. In den Jahren 2003 und 2004 studierte er Komposition und Horn an der Universidad de la República in Montevideo, Uruguay. Es ist da, in Uruguay, wo er anfängt, Kinder Musikunterricht zu geben und wo er seine Kompositionen uraufführen konnte. In diesen beiden jahren war er auch Mitglied von zwei Jugendorchester in Montevideo. Anfang 2005 war er Mitglied des Orchesters der Stadt San Luis Potosí, Mexiko, und des dazugehörigen Chors. Seit Ende 2005 wohnt er in Berlin, Deutschland, wo er bei verschieden Lehrern Unterricht in Horn und Musiktheorie genommen hat. In dieser Zeit hat er sich mit der Freien-Komposition beschäftigt. Außerdem spielt er in zwei Orchestern der deutschen Hauptstadt und gibt weiter Musik- und Klavierunterricht für Kinder. Seit dem Jahr 2008 studiert er "Filmmusik" an der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen "Konrad Wolf" -Babelsberg, Potsdam, und widtmet sich in seiner Wahlheimat Berlin weiteren musikalischen Projekten. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Héctor Marroquín was born in 1983 in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. In the year 2005 he returned to San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and played with the Symphonic Orchestra of San Luis Potosi. At the same time he was also part of the choir of the city. Since 2005 he lives in Berlin, Germany, dedicating himself to various music projects. He is also part of two orchestras of the city and gives music lessons to children. In 2008 he began his studies of filmmusic composition at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen "Konrad Wolf" (University for film and Television) in Potsdam, Germany and is working constantly on further compositions and music projects.
