June 08, 2007 - "Hello," & "Welcome," to THE Mitch Hedberg Tribute! This profile is in NO WAY associated with, Mr. Mitch Hedberg, nor, The Mitch Hedberg Estate, but rather, simply serves as a loving tribute to the comedic genius.
In the world of MySpace, I'm known as, BByrd™BByrd™, & for those of you who'd care to know a little bit more about me, you're free to view my personal profile at your convenience; however, this particular profile is here for Mitch, & Mitch alone.
We decided to create this tribute after we were unable to locate very few up-to-date, & well-managed, MySpace pages devoted entirely to Mitch. We would also like to point out that we had/have, absolutely no ulterior motives in mind (i.e., Financial gain, phishing, etc.), when we took up the aforementioned task.
So, whether you're a long-time admirer, or only just discovering this positively unique comic, "Welcome." It's our sincere desire that you enjoy yourself here. And, please, feel free to express your love of, Mitch, as often, & in as many ways, as you would like.
Put simply, we wanted to share our fondness for Mitch's quirky, & completely original comic styling with other fans who appreciated the man, & his work, & to spread the, "Word-of-Mitch," to those poor unfortunate souls who have yet to discover this, quite literal, legendary figure of stand-up.

I just remembered that when I saw Mitch perform the first or second time, there was one point where I had to excuse myself to the bathroom despite the fact that I didn't want to miss any of his routine. When I got inside the ladies' room, they actually had a speaker on the wall that was pumping in the comedy, live. I got to sit and pee and listen to him in the next room. It was pretty special ;)
