BUNGLE, EVERY MIKE PATTON PROJECT THERE IS, CRYSTAL METHOD, BILLY IDOL, GENE KELLY (hehehe. . .seriously), MILES DAVIS AND JOHN COLTRANE, A TRIBE CALLED QUEST, G3 CONCERTS, HIM, CKY, TURBONEGRO, 4HERO, AIR, GORILLAZ. . .okay, that's most of the influences but if you listen to our music you could judge them for yourself. We have A LOT of influences, it depends on what influence do we use.

Porno, Game music producers like Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Masato Nakamura (Sonic the Hedgehog), Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger), Masami Ueda (Resident Evil series), Akira Kurosawa Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese flicks, Jackass (TV show and the movies), Viva La Bam, Rodney Mullen (watching him skate inspires the hell out of us. . .), Japanese porno, more porno, beer, skating (that's Kelvin. Me? I'm just looking for some stuff. . .), Cool paintings and graffiti's, Tsuneo Imahori (Trigun), COWBOY BEBOP (We dunno, that show is pretty addicting--even if it only had 26 episodes), Masked Rider Black(Rol likes this show. . .), playing FINAL FANTASY 6 7 AND 8. . .and oh yeah, we've been into the game band movements like NESkimos, Minibosses, The Oneups, MegaDriver (Brazil), Powerglove. . .they're pretty cool to listen remaking classic game console themes and we just got hooked up. . .

2005:
After realizing that the true power of keyboard synths, computers, videogames, porno, and the internet we formed an electronic based group. Unlike the dead slums of our neighborhood where electronica never really had a chance and only bands with live instruments will sell, we defied that statement. We formed HEDEFECT after thinking, "hey, we could be the first in our neighborhood." so we did it, anyway. We've been recording shit every now and then. . .
