hedonisia Hawaii was created under the following principles:

1) To show that a business can be Ecologically friendly using sustainable and moral business practices and yet be successful. As much as is possible, we show that by Reducing, Reusing and Recycling we can save money which we then pass on by offering lower rates to our Guests.

2) To offer a Fair-Trade Volunteer Program; a model of having Volunteer Workers that can be applied to many different communities or businesses who cannot afford to pay a salary to workers but can offer benefits to Volunteers.

3) To be a community of individuals. Guests and Volunteers from around the world living in an informal community setting yet enjoying their autonomy, privacy and independence. With only 10 bedspaces on 3.72 acres, our hostel is small enough to be friendly yet big enough to be private and cozy.

We offer budget vacation rentals in Hawaii for those who wish to enjoy an affordable Hawaiian holiday in the rain forest and yet be near the ocean.
