My Pap for smiling and laughing when his leg was amputated and for being the 'daddy' I never had. Gram H for never wavering during her battle with cancer.
All the men and women in the United States Military risking their lives so that we may be free.
Last but not least, my kids. Every day in just the simple things they do, they make me the proudest mom in the world.
About me: Heather Rae Scott was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania. She left briefly touring round the world in the United States Air Force both as an Airman and as a military wife. The old saying “Bloom where you were planted” seems to ring true for her because she moved back in 1996 and hasn’t left yet.
If you ask her Grandmother, she’d tell you that during high school, Heather could be found most nights on her bed with her nose in a book– more often than not a notebook with a pen in her hand.
In the back of her head, she always knew she’d go back to writing, because time and time again, the voices in her head beckoned. She’d try to figure out the lives of people she passed on the street and in watching movies thought idly that she’d love to rewrite endings. It wasn’t until she picked up a romantic comedy in 1999 that she thought, “I can do this!” She’d found her niche. She just didn’t realize how hard the road to publication could be and spent the next seven years trying to achieve her dream.
Near the end of 2005, Samhain Publishing, Ltd. Bought the book of her heart and has since purchased another one making her dream come true.

A star quarterback has one weekend to reclaim the woman who sacked his heart. Or get her out of his system once and for all.
Only for her best friend, and for charity, would Tory Sinclair set herself up to possibly meet Mr. Wrong in a takeoff of The Dating Game. She never expected that Mr. Wrong would turn out to be Mr. The One Who Got Away.
After Tory disappeared five years ago without a word of explanation, Gabe Matheson never expected—or wanted—to see her again. But with the entire city watching, and his career on the line, how could he refuse?
When they’re thrown together in a situation that forces them to bare their souls, their secrets—and a few other things as well—Tory and Gabe quickly realize that fate might have given them the last thing they wanted. But it could be exactly what they needed.
REVIEWS:
“The Last Thing I Wanted is a very readable story. ...one thing this story has in its favor is Ms Scott’s most adorably bubbly way with repartees. This story makes me chuckle several times.“ — Mrs. Giggles
“This is my first Heather Rae Scott book; however, I can assure you it will not be my last! I believe this is part of a trilogy; I cannot wait to get the other one already written. I can guarantee you lots of laughs, plenty of tears, and remarkable memories when the book is complete. Ms. Scott will quickly become a must-read. I loved it! “ — Brenda Talley, The Romance Studio
“With her usual witty style and fresh approach to romance, Ms. Scott delivers another humorous offering. Ms. Scott’s voice and humor come through on the pages and have me anxiously waiting for more from her in the future.” — Jenn L., Romance Junkies
"Heather Rae Scott creates a story with the plot centered on football, lies, hot sex, and stubborn lovers who spend years apart because of the actions of others. Tory walked away from Gabe in the past to let him keep his career, a hard choice that broke her heart. Gabe does not know why Tory had left and the only thing he cares about is that she is back, giving him a chance to get some answers. The Last Thing I Wanted is a dynamite novel and the ending will make you sigh at the romance of it."--Alisha, TwoLiips Reviews
OK, book one down...fantastic. I'm in the process of reading about 4 others right now, haha. I loved all the stuff about Pittsburgh in book one. Just finished "fearless fourteen" and started a Nevada Barr book, your second one is up next! Loved the first one though, HONEST.
Indulge yourself with “Hand-Dipped Pleasure” by Leannan Mac Llyr.

“This story starts out hot and gets hotter and hotter… it has a great friendship that could develop into something much more and the strawberries just might make you want to try a few of your own” Fallen Angel Review
So, I'm a HUGE dork. I saw Blaize today, I wasn't sure if it was him. Since he has grown up and I remember him being a little guy. Um, yeah, I had to check your pictures to make sure it was him. Holy Cow! I didn't think he could be that old yet. Well, I'm sorry that I didn't talk a little more to him, at the time I wasn't 100% I knew who it was.
Lol, don't be nervous. I think in all the books I've ever read, all of them, I've only not finished 1...I'd love for you to autograph them too, that would be cool!!
