LAU are a formidable union of three of the finest and most innovative exponents of modern traditional music in Scotland today; Kris Drever (Guitar and Vocal), Martin Green (Piano Accordion), Aidan O’Rourke (Fiddle). They have now taken the "Best Group" prize at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards two years in a row. LAU are a band who must be seen live. Their energy and in-between song banter is exactly what anyone hopes for when they attend a gig.
The Jim Jones Revue play a special XFM 14+ show at The Barfly in Camden this Monday. The show will be recorded and broadcast on John Kennedy's XFM Xposure radio show throughout November.
